How to Find Winning Creatives Before Launch: The Best Affiliate Marketing Spy Tools

How to Find Winning Creatives Before Launch: The Best Affiliate Marketing Spy Tools

You are preparing a new launch and spending time and budget trying to find an approach that works. Meanwhile, a competitor has already been running ads in the same GEO for several weeks – and you can analyze their strategies before your own campaign even goes live.

Affiliate marketing spy tools collect active ads, creatives, landing pages, and launch data. They will not show you the exact profit or hand you a ready-made funnel, but they can help you understand which approaches are actually working and which ones are simply wasting budget.

In this article, the INB.bio team will compare spy tools for push and native traffic based on price, features, and GEO coverage. We will also explain how to use the information you find to build your own testing plan.

Why analyze competitor ads before launching

White sieve sifting white powder and green beads into a glass dish surrounded by moss and small white flowers on a white background.

When you launch a new nutra offer, you do not yet know what will work best: a personal story, a specific symptom, a focus on the ingredients, or a simple product banner. If you test everything at once, your budget will not be enough. This is exactly why competitor analysis matters. It does not replace testing, but it helps you start with stronger hypotheses.

Instead of testing twenty different ideas, you get several proven approaches that advertisers already use regularly in your target GEO.

Suppose you find several active campaigns promoting a men’s health offer. Most of them repeat two themes: loss of confidence and age-related changes. That is already enough information to create your own variations around those ideas and add one control creative focused on the product’s properties.

You are not copying someone else’s advertising. You are identifying patterns and testing them with your own traffic.

Spy tools can also reveal which formats are rarely used in a particular niche. This may indicate that they struggle to pass moderation, do not fit the traffic source, or simply fail to deliver results.

As a result, you spend less money on weak ideas and more on concepts that are genuinely worth testing. However, to do that, you need to choose a tool that covers your traffic source and target GEO.

Comparing spy tools: which ones are worth the subscription

There is no universal service that tracks Facebook, push, and native advertising equally well. That is why choosing a tool based only on the size of its database is a bad idea. What matters much more is whether it collects data from your specific traffic source and allows you to filter the country you need.

The prices below are current as of July 2026, but you should check them again before paying. These services regularly change their plans and offer discounts for annual subscriptions.

ToolApproximate monthly priceBest traffic sourceGEO coverageBest suited for
AdPlexityFrom $249 for each individual productNative ads, push, mobile, and desktop traffic70+ countries, depending on the productTeams and experienced affiliates who regularly launch campaigns across several GEOs
AnstrexFrom $79.99 for native ads; push access is sold separatelyPush and native advertisingDozens of countries, 27+ native networks, and 38+ push networksSolo affiliates who need a strong database without paying AdPlexity prices
SpyOverFrom $149Native advertising and pushAround 150 countriesAffiliates working with smaller or less common GEOs
AdSpy$149Facebook and Instagram225 countriesAffiliates who generate most of their traffic through Meta
BigSpyFree plan available; paid plans start at $9, with advanced plans from $69Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTubeBroad international coverageBeginners and affiliates who need to check several social media ideas quickly
AdbeatFrom $249Native, display, and video advertisingMainly focused on major marketsTeams that analyze not only creatives but also publishers and estimated advertiser spending

However, there are several details to consider before purchasing a subscription:

  • AdPlexity is a strong but expensive option for regular use. It makes sense if you launch several campaigns every month and consistently work with different traffic sources. A subscription is unlikely to pay for itself for one small test, especially when your advertising budget is lower than the cost of the service itself.
  • Anstrex offers an excellent balance for solo affiliates. Its main advantage is its detailed filtering by network, device, campaign duration, and landing page. You can quickly find recent campaigns for the offer and format you need.
  • SpyOver is an option for less popular GEOs. Its main value is the ability to find materials from countries that are poorly represented in other services. This is particularly important for INB.bio partners: ads from the United States will not help much if you are planning to launch in Morocco, Kenya, or Pakistan.
  • AdSpy is designed specifically for social media. It is useful when you need to understand how competitors adapt the same problem to different audiences, languages, and formats. It offers little value for push traffic.
  • BigSpy is a good starting point without significant costs. It is suitable for quickly checking several themes, visuals, or formats on social media. However, you should not expect equally detailed data across all platforms. For serious push and native ad analysis, it is better to use a specialized tool.
  • Adbeat is more useful for scaling than for an initial test. It helps you understand where advertisers place their ads, which publishers they use, and how their activity changes over time. This is valuable when your funnel is already working and you are looking for new sources. For a first launch, its capabilities will probably be excessive.

You should not start by asking, “Which tool is the best?” Instead, begin with three more specific questions:

  1. Where do you plan to buy traffic?
  2. Which GEO do you want to test?
  3. How many campaigns will you launch during the month?

For Facebook, BigSpy or AdSpy will usually be enough. For push traffic, look at Anstrex, SpyOver, or AdPlexity Push. For native traffic, Anstrex and SpyOver are suitable choices, while teams working with high volumes may benefit more from AdPlexity or Adbeat.

You do not need to pay for a subscription continuously. It may be enough to purchase one month of access before a series of launches, collect materials for the required GEOs, and prepare your hypotheses. The key is to define your offers, countries, and search queries in advance so that you do not waste paid access browsing ads without a clear plan.

What actually works for push traffic

With push traffic, seeing the image and headline is not enough. You need to know where the campaign is running, which devices it targets, how long it has remained active, and where the user goes after clicking.

That is why a large archive of social media ads will not help here. You need the best push traffic spy tools that track specific networks, GEOs, and the entire user journey.

The most practical options are Anstrex Push, AdPlexity Push, and SpyOver.

Anstrex Push: quickly find proven approaches

Anstrex is convenient when you need to quickly analyze a niche, GEO, or specific network. It is easy to filter out old campaigns, keep only recent ones, and see which approaches competitors are testing right now.

It is better to search by the problem or desired result rather than the product name. For example:

  • for joint offers – “knees,” “back,” “movement”;
  • for diabetes offers – “sugar,” “glucose,” “thirst”;
  • for heart offers – “blood pressure,” “fatigue,” “heart”;
  • for men’s health offers – “prostate,” “waking up at night,” “male performance.”

A single creative tells you very little. But when the same idea appears repeatedly across different headlines, icons, and images, it becomes a meaningful signal.

AdPlexity Push: see the entire funnel

AdPlexity Push is useful when you need to understand not only the creative itself but the entire path after the click: push notification → pre-landing page → landing page → order form.

This is important for nutra offers because a push notification rarely sells the product directly. Its purpose is to capture attention. The page then explains the problem, builds trust, and provides reasons to submit an order.

SpyOver: when you need an uncommon GEO

SpyOver is worth considering when other services contain little data for your target country. Its main strength is broad geographic coverage and the ability to search ads by language, device, source, and campaign duration.

However, before subscribing, check whether it has enough recent campaigns in your specific niche and GEO.

A short checklist: what to verify before subscribing

Before paying for a service, check:

  • whether it covers the GEO you need;
  • whether it tracks your push network;
  • how recently the database was updated;
  • whether you can open the pages users see after clicking;
  • whether device filters are available;
  • whether there are enough campaigns in your vertical;
  • whether you can see several versions of the same campaign.

For INB.bio offers, first ask your manager whether push traffic actually performs well in the selected GEO. If Facebook or native advertising delivers better results there, a separate push spy tool subscription may simply not pay for itself.

How to turn competitor ads into a testing plan

Futuristic white plant-like lamps with green glowing tips stand amid lush clover, moss, and small white flowers on a white background.

After your analysis, you should be left with more than a folder full of banners. You need a clear launch plan. Here is how to build one.

Step 1. Identify the main angles

Do not look only at the image. Focus on the idea it communicates. For example, an ad for a joint health product may be built around:

  • morning stiffness;
  • pain while walking;
  • difficulty climbing stairs;
  • the desire to stay active.

You should collect ideas, not copy someone else’s creatives.

Step 2. Prepare two creatives for each angle

Do not change everything at once. Choose three angles and create two creative variations for each one.

AngleVersion 1Version 2
Morning stiffness“The first 10 minutes after waking up determine how the rest of your day will feel”“Why do your knees hurt more in the morning?”
Difficulty climbing stairsA personal story: someone has started avoiding stairsA direct challenge: “How many steps can you climb without stopping?”
The desire to stay activeA sense of loss: someone gives up family walksA picture of the desired result: returning to gardening, traveling, and everyday activities

Six well-planned creatives will give you more useful data than twenty random ones.

Step 3. Adapt the angle to the GEO

Do not use the same creative for every country because each market has its own specific characteristics. For example, local imagery, French and Arabic, and a more restrained presentation are important in Morocco, while brighter advertising is generally accepted in Venezuela.

Step 4. Check the connection between the creative and the page

The ad and the landing page should continue the same story.

If the creative focuses on waking up at night, the landing page should not begin with a general description of men’s health. The user should immediately see the same problem and understand that they have reached the right page.

Step 5. Build a testing matrix

ElementPlan
GEOOne country
OfferOne product
Angles3
Creatives2 for each angle
Landing pages1–2
Traffic sourceOne network
Primary metricCost per lead
Secondary metricApproval rate

After launch, first remove creatives that generate no clicks. Then compare the cost per lead and always check the approval rate. Cheap applications without confirmations do not mean the funnel is working.

🌿 In the article “How to Test a New Affiliate Offer,” we explain the budget, the number of leads required to draw conclusions, and other important criteria in more detail.

Step 6. Confirm the GEO and offer with your manager

It is better to ask your manager which GEO fits your traffic source and only then start preparing creatives and paying for a spy tool.

At INB.bio, the process works like this: competitor analysis → your own hypotheses → GEO and offer selection → small test → lead and approval rate evaluation.

This is the right way to approach how to spy on competitor ads in affiliate marketing: do not look for a ready-made funnel. Find strong ideas and test them with your own traffic sources and creatives.

FAQ

What is an affiliate marketing spy tool?

Spollers Indicator

It is a service that collects active ads, creatives, landing pages, and data about traffic sources and GEOs. It helps you see which approaches competitors use, how long their campaigns have been running, and which ideas are worth testing in your own launch.

Is it legal to use ad intelligence tools?

Spollers Indicator

Yes, as long as the service collects publicly available advertising data and you use it for market research. Problems may arise not from the analysis itself, but from directly copying someone else’s creatives, copy, pages, or branding without the owner’s permission.

Which tool is best for push traffic?

Spollers Indicator

For regular push traffic research, Anstrex Push and AdPlexity Push are among the best options because they provide filters by network, GEO, device, and campaign duration. SpyOver can be considered as an additional option for less popular countries.

Does a beginner need a spy tool?

Spollers Indicator

You do not need to purchase an expensive subscription on your first day. A beginner can start with short-term access or a free plan to understand the market structure, identify common approaches, and prepare several well-reasoned hypotheses for the first test.
